Re: 300hp 350??
most stock 350 have 260 hp. so with the aluminum intake and headers you should be very close. the eldelbrock 500 cfm is killing it though. plus, it's according to what the engine come from. did it come out of a truck or a car? the crank, cam, heads play a critical role. how many miles are on the engine? is it stock or is it modified?

Re: 300hp 350??
how do you know it's a 350? the casting number is behind the distibutor on the passenger side. if you can remove the distibutor you'll be able to see it with a flash light. or just cram some pladoe on the back of the block and peel it off real easy and maybe you'll be able to make out what the number is.

Re: 300hp 350??
pop the valve covers off and get the casting numbers.
are there any markings on the intake manifold telling what brand or any numbers?
Get a carb spacer at least 1".
Get new fuel filter.
New air filter.
Try those once you get the block casting numbers to make sure its a 350.
