crank but no start
hi im new here so if posting wrong, apologies. ok its a '91 3.1L camaro. in short last thursday i changed plugs, wires, rotor button, distr. cap, ign. coil, IAC, TPS, even put in my rebuilt 700r4 i just finished. well it ran like a dream till saturday. the coolant temp. sensor went out and it started running rich as all get out. so i drove it on that bad sensor till this morning and finially changed it. cranked the car up after i changed it, and it felt like it was running on 3 or 4 cylinders. so i brought it back home, took out the plugs, and cleaned them very thoughly. put them back in, now it wont even start, it cranks all day, but wont start up. pulled the plugs again, they are soaked in gas. well fuel pressure is correct. as are the injectors(used noid light and they have the correct voltage) i connected a spark plug to the end of the wire that connects to the disrtibutor from the coil and held it right off the chassis as my girlfriend turned the key and... well its getting spark. is it possible i burned up the plugs in 2 days from running rich like i did. or does anyone have any other suggestions.

forgot to add that the plugs were cheap ones, i dont know if that would cause them to burn up faster than expensive ones, but there it is.

Welcome to TGO!
You mention you connected a plug to the coil wire? Am I reading that correctly? If so, try checking for spark off a spark plug wire. Just because the coil is firing, doesn't always mean there's adequate spark at the plug.
No worries on running cheapie plugs. In all the various plugs I've tried, I've found those run as well as the rest of them.

Re: crank but no start
ok im back, and it has spark at the plugs. i have been doing more research and some people are saying a bad battery could cause not enought voltage to get the engine to crank over and actually start. well when working on it this morning i left the keys in the ignition (by mistake) and had to get jumped off when i took it out this morning after the sensor change. does anyone think that may be an issue causing this? i would get the battery checked but i live in titus,AL, which is a million miles from anything. i would have to get a ride later on in the week to check this if ya'll think it is the cause
