NO BRAKES!!! HELP!!
Hey all i have a lil predicament im hopin ya'll can help me with. Im slowly weeding out the problems on my 82 firebird, got the new clutch in works great except when i tried to stop and about drove the brake pedal through the floor. checked it out and noticed fluid seeping out where the MC connects to the booster. so i replaced the master cylinder. still no brakes though. bled the system still to no avail. so then i replaced the booster itself and had some nasty lookin orange stuff fall out of the booster in the process. still no brakes but now when i hit the brake pedal and hold it for a second the engine just up and dies. im lost i dont know too much about braking systems so any help would greatly be appreciated.

Re: NO BRAKES!!! HELP!!
ok now i have bench bled the MC, that helped a lil bit, got told to press a lil rubber button on the bottom of the proportioning valve, did that. now i at least have some brakes when the pedal is almost to the floor and if i press too hard the rear brakes lock up. seem to have gotten air out of prop valve and MC should i now go and bleed the brakes at the wheels again and when i do do i crack open the brake line or the lil fitting or does it matter??
