Head Gasket Question Help

My Camaro has a head gasket leak. since i do not have the funds to pay someone to do it i am going to do this myself. this is problaby a dumb question but how do ya know which side gasket is out? it seems like all the smoke that seeps out comes from the right side of the engine

could be an intake gasket. Pay close attention during disassembly.

Could be a cracked block, too.

or a cracked intake, cracked head, etc. It could be a lot of things. If it were me I would pressure test the cooling system, first and foremost before I did anything.

I agree with every one else but if it were me since you have it tore down anyway I'd replace both sides for reassurance
