Ok so i got a vac gauge to help diagnose my current problem also a air/fuel ratio gauge. i know how to install the air/fuel, but where do i hook the vac gauge to? and when it is installed what should i be looking for through out the rpm range?

Edit: I installed the gauge into the hose going to the stock air lid. It read 24-26 Hg. if i slowly reved the engine it slightly dropped to around 15-18 Hg. When i went to wide open throttle quickly, it dropped down to 0. Does anyone know what this might mean? Any help is appreciated.

That's completely normal.
Anchorage?? You got the ***** to drive your thirdgen around in ANCHORAGE, now?!? I was there two weeks ago, I can't even imagine driving a 3rd gen now...

You installed your vac gauge into your air cleaner? Typically these are installed into your carb, or intake manifold, etc.. Or TBI injection unit? If there are ports on it..

I just hooked it inline to one of the vacuum lines going from the TBI unit to the stock air lid. I cant't remember the name of the sensor off hand.
