Help, car wont start!

Hey everyone, i have a 91 camaro 5.0. The car had slow drain, and eventually the battery i had died.
First i tried to jump the car, but it wouldnt start. It turn over but no start. It seemed like one point it held a charge but then lost it a couple of minutes(still with the jumper cables attached)
I hooked it up to a battery charger and it wouldnt charge past 5 volts, so i went ahead and bought a new one...

Now, i put a new battery in today, and it didnt even turn over. nothing comes on when i turn the key. The beeping sound that comes on only happened if i pushed the key in and held it, but it was weak. The trunk wouldnt open, and the door locks wouldnt work. I have no idea where to start diagnosing this.
The battery and starter are new. All sensors are new. Ran before the battery died. Help plelase?!?!

Re: Help, car wont start!

next thing to do is to put the car up and get under the passenger side. See if you have good connections at the starter, and no corrosion. Also check your connections at the alternator.

I checked the connections and they are good ad clean. I think i might of found the problem though. It seems as if the new battery doesn't connect well with the old connectors. I will take a pic to show it because i don't really know a good way to explain it.
