Easy Motor and Suspension Questions
Hey Crew,
I have a few questions that i bet some of you have good helpful hints or tips for assisting me.
I wanted to know if anyone had help hits or tricks they used to do the following.
Change spark plugs on a L98 350 TPI
PS if anyone knows the part number for the MSD wires for it let me know.
Changing out the shocks/struts. They are being difficult .
Thanks.

Re: Easy Motor and Suspension Questions
Spark Plug Wires:
Make sure they don't touch anything hot. I never noticed when I changed mine out that they were just slightly touching the headers at the back of the motor. Ran fine until it rained, ran like hell.
Struts/Shocks:
How are they being difficult? Changing just the shocks/struts is rather easy. Springs is another story.... remember to torque the rear ones properly. Ie, not holding the far end of the shock while trying to torque cause all you'll end up doing is crushing the bushing.
The fronts you want a jack under the A-Arm so it doesn't come flying down when you undo the top nut. Make sure you retorque the bolts properly when you put the new strut on, can turn the wheel to get a bit more room. If your into a cleaner look maybe get some new dust guards for the strut.
In both cases impact gun is your best friend, can get an electric one. I have one of each and are well used. Release oil, and heat if they are being really stubborn.
Other than that, not sure what else I could suggest.
