i had another 92 camaro and saved the door for the window and bottons and window motor ect. my new camaros window motor has gone out so i took off the arm rest removed the door pannel and unscrewed/drilled out the rivetes when i unscrwed the motor and went to remove it when the motor moved away from the crank wheel it dropped the window really fast and i vagly remember one of my buddies telling me i needed to clamp somthing down to make sure the window doesnt fall inside and break i was just wundering what i should clamp or if i should just wedge somthing into the wheel to hold it into place so it doesnt drop the window

Re: window motor help
You can do it many ways. You could clamp a small set of vise grips to the window track under the window. What ever you do make sure the window is secure so you don't loose a finger.
