sensor??????
there is a sensor under my plentnum that goes into the intake it has a single black wire and is hot with key on what is this and what kink of problems would it cause? It is shorting out or something i can here it it sounds like a wire is arking the top of the sensor???? is loose so i just assume this is the cause of the noise? thanks for any input!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Screws into the bottom of the plenum and has a 2 wire connection (Although it could be easily disguised as a 1 wire connection) - Intake Air Temp Sensor.
