91 TA {5.0 tpi} starting and running problems

Need help please, car starts sometimes and revs up like it should. Then sometimes it wont start unless I squirt some gas into the throttle body. Then sometimes it will start but will not rev up, like its not getting enough gas.I have replaced the fuel pump, filter, fuel pressure regulator, distributor, map sensor, tps sensor and computer and still have the same problem. When it does rev up like it should, it runs good for a few minutes, then it starts acting like its not getting any fuel when the throttle is opened up but it will sit and idle good.Any suggestions or advice will be greatly appreciated

Thanks for your reply,I unplugged the coolant sensor but the car wouldn't start.I didn't squirt any gas in the throttle body but I'm sure it would start if I did.Thinking now maybe the cold start valve?Dont know what else to change. After I squirt gas in the t-body it will start from then on, but it may or may not rev up.

Do you get fuel pressure at the fuel rail when the car doesn't want to start? That would be the first place to look. Does the fuel pressure hold steady, or does it decay rapidly?
If FP checks out good, I would look at the injectors. See if you are getting electricity to them when the car does not want to start.

Waiting to borrow a fuel pressure guage.I am getting fuel up to the fuel rail. This morning I had to squirt gas into the t-body to start but the rest of the day while working on car it would start up.Would like to know the significance of the IAC valve.

The IAC controls the amount of air that gets into the engine while the car is idling. I would not worry about adjusting that on our cars. I doubt that it is causing your problems. The fact that you have to squirt starting fluid in order to start your car, suggests that you have a fuel delivery issue. This could be a faulty fuel pump relay, or you are not always getting signal from the ECM to the injectors. There could be other resons too, but that is the first thing that comes to mind.

Thanks for your reply.I am getting fuel to the schrader valve.I changed the ecm and that eliminated the revving problem but I still have to squirt starting fluid to get it to start. Also while revving the motor,it will shut off when it idles back down. Then sometimes it will start right up and sometimes it wont, unless I squirt the starting fluid in it.Could the fuel pump relay be causing this issue? If so, which relay is it on the 91's?Mine has three relays on the firewall on the drivers side.

Latest finding checked the ohms on the injectors and here are the results
#1 - 9 ohms
#3 - 11 ohms
#5 - 5 ohms
#7 - 10 ohms
#2 - 18 ohms
#4 - 14 ohms
#6 - 15 ohms
#8 - 17 ohms
could this be my problem?

I would say you need new injectors.
