Serp power steering pulley removal

Serp power steering pulley removal

can someone please educate me on how to remove the power steering pump pulley from a serpentine style setup...i need to get it off asap...do i need a puller of some sort?????????

Yeah there's a special puller you'll need. It's a little goofy but it's a big bolt that butts up against the center of the PS pulley (not the pulley itself, but the part that the pulley is mounted on) and you put a goofy grabber onto the outside of the bolt that holds onto a lip on the front of the pulley itself. You use a pair of wrenches and painstakingly screw it off. It's a pain in the ***, but not impossible by any means!

Make sure you get an installer tool too.



The puller is the large cylindrical thing on the top right near the box, and the installer is the one right beside it on the left. Im honestly not too sure what the othr stuff is, I didnt need them.
