Need help setting the timing

Car: Red T-Top 89 IROCZ
Engine: 400 / punched out 30
Transmission: 700R4 / 3500 stall
Axle/Gears: Ford 9" 390 gears
Need help setting the timing

I just put a 406 with a small cam in my 89 IROCZ, was needing some help as to what is the bust setting for the timing. Can you help

It depends on the cam specs, the compresion ratio and the intake system. Need more info. We can give you a starting point but it will wind up being what the engine "likes". This is part of the tuning process.
