LT1 cam question
Hey guys, i was researching the board and found these specs for the LTx cam:
Factory 1993 - 1995 LTX Camshaft Specifications
202/207 0.450/0.460 lift 116 LSA
I just bought a cam for a 93' LT1 Z28 off ebay to go in my 350 TPI im building, does any one know the rpm range and valve float w/ roller tips on these cams?
Thanks,
John

Re: LT1 cam question
With my '97 Z28, all stock LT1, it makes good power from about 1500 to about 5000 rpm or so, starts to drop off after that.
As for valve float - depends what valve springs you use. If you use the LT4 valve springs you should be fine to about 6000 rpm or so before you have issues, so it won't be an issue if its done making power around 5000 (with your TPI).
