timing tab
Do I have the wrong aftermarket tab? It covers my whole balancer not allowing me to see the line when I use a timing light. Do the make them where there not so wide?

Re: timing tab
Is it made onto the timing cover or bolted on with the cover bolts?
Do you have an "easy off" timing cover adapter (allows removing the timing cover without loosening the oil pan bolts)?

Re: timing tab
It is the bolted one, I would have to unbolt 2 of the timing cover bolts to change it out. Do they make smaller ones?

Re: timing tab
The front surface of the balancer that the pulley bolts to is a standard dimension. This is necessary to keep pulleys and belts in alignment. The pointer you have would have to be pointing to a timing mark on a pulley...
If you ordered it from Sumit or Jegs, post the catalog number so nobody else buys one that is useless.
Maybe it's for a blower application or something exotic..

Re: timing tab
All of them are shorter. I'm still trying to figure out what a longer one would be used for...
