hydraulic roller cam limitations?

can someone edumacate me here? what are the limits of a hydraulic roller cam as far as lift? what issues do you run into with a cam with about .600 lift? is it valve float or something like that?

I thinking about upgrading my cam and i would like to stick with a hydraulic roller if its possibly/practical

thinking about maybe a CS XR300HR-10 with 1.6 rockers
it would be for a 408 with 10.44 compression

Re: hydraulic roller cam limitations?

.600" lift or there abouts is no problem with todays valve trains. You just have to make sure you have the right components to match your cam. Another deciding factor will be how high you want rev your motor.
