Replacing Cam
Hey,
Is it at all possible to swap out a camshaft on a carbed 305 without lifting the engine or anything like that, because I've got limited tools and knowledge and I'm only 16 so an engine lift really isn't in my price range.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Replacing Cam
yes. Remove the front of the engine, the intake manifold and valve covers. Remove the radiator, and condensor and cooling fans. Remove the timing chain cover. You dont have to remove the oil pan, but once you get the timing cover off, there are tabs you have to cut to put it back on. It seems like alot of work, but its alot of 'easy' work.
