i have a 88 camaro 350 tpi and it is flooding realy bad. new plugs, wires, and cap. i have the maf unpluged because i was told this would bi pass it and cancle it out. i had it on the computer and got codes est fault, fuel pump low voltage. the car throws out black smoke while its running. it will run ok when its held open but wen idling or putin along it will flood out and shut off. take the plugs out and crank it to the gas out and it will fire rite up again. the temp for the temp senosr is 37-38. i was told something in the distributar could be shaged or the fuel preasure regulator diafram could be messed up any one else have any ideas?

 

would like to get fixed soon if anyone has ideas

 

check the ohms of the injectors, should be greater than 10 and all the same.

 

how do i check them i kno with a meter but were to do i check them

 

unplug the connector and check across the two terminals.

no i never got it fixed im gona check out the est code tomorow, if thats my problem ill let you kno but meanwhile if anyone else has any sugestions id like to hear

 

anyone kno if an est code could cause flooding??
