the seal in between the cap and coil
sorry if i sound like an idiot but im new to ****in with cars and ****
but im replacing my cap and rotor and coil tommorrow and the seal that goesin between the cap and coil will not go down all the way and i greased it up. will this be a problem?
its is in there but is down al the way
i plan on doing this tommorrow morning, any help would be great thanks.

The tab on the rotor pushes up on the carbon button under the seal. When you put the coil on, it will all compress so you get good contact between the coil output, the carbon button, and the rotor.
