86 TRANS AM SITTING

I have a 1986 trans am with 58000 miles that has been sitting for 12 years. What would you do before trying to start? I have rebuilt the carb, changed oil, drained gas new fuel filters and put new plugs in. anything else?

Thanks for your help.

Can only be one of these things really

Spark
Fuel
Compression

Take out the spark plugs and put some oil in the cylinders to get compression, Purge fuel lines, check fuses adn spark, should be good

I still havent got my GTA started after 5 years of sitting, I did a tune up then tried turning it over and it didnt fire up...but i still have to check for Spark, compression and fuel
