cold air intake ?s
got a true POS of a camaro its a discrage to any ever made its competely rusted out and ill b lucky if itll last till the summer. that said since the intake is very restricitive i was hoping to cut a hole in the hood and get sumtin like a cone filter with sum tubbing going strait into the intake. my problem is i want the air filter right in the hole but itll get destroyed. i was hoping somebody might know what i could cover the filter with or put in the hole in the hood to protect my filter from the rain, dirt, and other debrise.

A hood scoop. It'd look like crap but......
The camaro intakes weren't actually a bad setup at all. You'll unlikely notice any gains by cutting your hood.
Rust adds character. It took many years to get where it's at now. It's a custom paint job. None other exactly like it. It's lighter.

my hood is cut on my camaro and i hate it. i wouldnt have done it, plus i dont think the previous owner was too smart with some other issues (they are mostly fixed now). here is a pic, but i am sure you probably have a different hood.
its just a cell phone pic so the quality is horrible, but it could give you an idea.
