Spark Plugs

http://www.boschautoparts.com/Produc.../Platinum4.htm

I bought those spark plugs, but the guy who did my emissions test said they arent any good for GM cars. Is he right, or are they good? I dont want to put them in unless their good.

Also how the heck do i put them in? lol

Re: Spark Plugs

The center electrode breaks on the bosch plugs and causes misfires. I had two plugs where the wire falls out of the center and rest on the ground electode. The gap then is inside the tip so it look ok on a scope. If you take the plug and put it upside down, the wire with go back in. I have used only ac cr43st since. Fresh plugs are better than high milage high dollar plugs.

Re: Spark Plugs

The stock AC plugs are fine. Save your money for good wires, cap,& rotor. That was cr43ts, sorry.

Re: Spark Plugs

Whats your goal here? stock gm plugs wires and cap are as good as any aftermarket junk for a stock 305. Dont be me as a kid and waste all your $ on high dollar plugs, hi octane gas and additives that dont realy do crap. save it up till you have enough to make a difference, like a set of headers.
