i'm looking at starting a project....i'd like a 3rd gen of course......when i get one , it wont matter if the motor and tranny is bad.....i'd like to buy a motor that puts out 400-500 HP....and a tranny that will handle it....what kinda prices am i looking at and what exactly do i need to look for ? If anyone has any links that would be greast as well

Bud, YOU NEED TO SPEND A LOT OF TIME on here. You have a LOT of SEARCHING and READING to do. NO ONE wants to sit on here and answer you endless list of questions. You are too vague in what you are asking...."400-500HP" There is a BIG-couple grand-difference in cost between 400 and 500 hp engines.
My point, I have been on sites like this since I was 17, and I will be 24 in a month-1/2. Its taken 7 years to learn what I know and u r wanting guys like me to just break down and tell you all the details of an ENTIRE build-up.
