Fuel filter fittings
I am replacing my stock fuel filter with one with -8AN inlet/outlets. Does anyone know what kind of fittings I need to get with it so it will can be a direct swap replacement for my stock filter?
I had e-mail Purolator about the size of the stock replacement filter fittings and they said "Both side connection is M16x1.5-6H." But I am unable to find anything like that.
Any ideas? I want to get this ASAP so I can have the filter setup I want up and running.

Re: Fuel filter fittings
Hard to say. You didn't mention vehicle year and type of original fuel system. However, the typical TPI/MPFI/TBI fuel filter located in the rear of the car, drivers side, uses the 16 x 1.5 mm female saginaw fittings. Holley/Earls part# 9894DBJ (double check their web site) will thread onto the stock fuel line and provide a male -6 AN fitting on the open end.
You would now require a -6 to -8 fitting to go between the new fuel filter and the -6 adaptor. Once these are in place the distance between them may preclude the use of the new fuel filter you purchased.
Holley/Earl _may_ make a 16 x 1.5mm female saginaw to -8 male (? you didn't mention if the new fuel filter has male or female fittings). This would help, but I don't know if they make it or not. Check their web site for what is offered.

Re: Fuel filter fittings
Yeah, that was my bad on the info... I did sort of question that after I posted it, but almost all of our cars use the F33144 filter.
I am going to put on a Trick Flow TFS-23004 - the -8AN one. Unfortunately the TFS-23000 (which is -6AN) does not come in the micron I need, 100 micron. I will see if I can find the fitting I need.
Thanks for your help.
