? about Valve Seals

1991 3.1 From camaro. I bought a complete engine gasket kit and only received intake valve seals. Did this head not have seals on the exhaust side?

there are exhaust valve seals so your gonna need to exchange that for a new kit.

yes the factory did that . cost , g.m. bean counters . before you put it all back together , put new seals on all valves . they are cheap , use umbrella seals on all valves and stem seals on all . some one will come on and say that you don't need to . o.k. , but what will it hurt ?? nothing , and it will only cost 2 or3 bks. more ? peace of mind is worth more . LOL .
