It drives like a 3300lb car with 240+ ftlbs of torque. Your 3300lb (insert other car here that has a staggering 150hp) probably has closer to 170ftlbs of torque, eg GM 3.1L V6 car for example. That's why it's lame, but your 150HP bird is "quick".

That's 150 "net" horsepower.

Around 210 at the flywheel. Mercruiser 305s that used the same long block in their boats, came in at 230 FWHP through a much less restrictive exhaust, better timing advance and fuel delivery, with no emissions restrictions.
