my bad, need help! plug wires/cap

decided to replace plugs on my 305 and got real ambitous so decided to replace the plug wires too. At the parts store I went ahead and bought a cap and rotor since I was there and was replacing plugs/wires anyway. Here is the part I hate to admit, in my haste to get done before sunset, I wasn't thinking and removed all the plug wires from the cap prior to removal. I really need help now, can any one tell me or send me a diagram showing where number one is on my cap? Do the rest of the wires go on in the firing order stamped on the manifold, and does the order go clockwise or counterclock wise? any help would be great......I really want to drive my car again without paying a mechanic.

Firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2
Number one is the left of the two toward the front of the car if you distributor is stabbed as it should be but there is no guarantee that is installed correctly.

Distributor rotates clockwise.

Good luck
