Check this out..
OK here is my list first....I have a minirammed 383 with AFR 190 heads, 30lb inj, 58mm BBK, Hooker LT's, t56 tranny and (yes I know) the stock ECM.
Here is the prob. It starts fine and idles for the most part pretty good. When I get going and start to speed up it starts to jerk and doesnt get going much faster. I am 99.9% sure its the computer but could it be that I dont have the dakota box for the tranny? I dont have the O2 sensor hooked up yet either. I am in the Army and have limited time between training to wok on her. I just need a little help on what to get done next. Thanks
Sorry the cam is 232/240 and .576 lift

Re: Check this out..
Sounds like fuel delivery.
What's the fuel pressure WHILE IT'S SCREWING UP? (Not while sitting still idling; while it's actually malfunctioning)

not sure what it is when its jerking. I have it set at 40 psi at idle. I was also thinking that since I went from 19 lb injectors to 30 that in may be way to rich with the stock computer.

Find out what it is when it's malfunctioning.
Tape the gauge to the windshield and drive down the road and see what it's doing.
If the PROM hasn't been re-programmed, the stock programming IS CERTAIN to be totally wrong.

I will give it a shot. I was maybe thinking since I put the t56 in and didnt put that dakota box for the vss it might cause that to, but I dont really know.
