convert 70 350 to roller cam?
I have a friend who's selling me his 350 rebuilt short block cheap. I would like to convert it over to a roller cam. I have a 91 305 roller cam motor that it is going to replace. Can I use the roller cam components for this? I realize that the spider that holds the lifters in place needs to be bolted down. So what are my options? Should I just put a hydraulic cam in and new lifters to save money?

but some quick answers
yes you can reuse the dogbones and spider yes it needs to be secured
No you cant reuse the lifters you need lifters from a V6 i got mine from a 94 s-10
and you need to run a thrust button
