How the heck do you get the wiper blades off?
Im trying to get the whole assembly off, I got to looking at my wiper arms, and there is no clip or latch anywhere like I expected. Surely theres a way to get them off other than just brute force until I break something.
I keep looking for some kind of tab or something mess with, some mechanical means of releasing it, but the only thing anywhere around the pin is just the spring loaded hinge that keeps the blades against the glass.

Take it in to Autozone or O'Rielly's and buy new ones. They replace them free and you can see how it's done, up close and personal.

How embarassing.
I remember getting them off my truck a few years ago, and it was easy as pie, completely different type of latch, though.
Oh well, whatever.

There is a pin going through the arm that attaches the wiper blade assemby. It metal and has like a 6 sides "spider" shape on one side so the pin doesnt fall out. Bend up that pin so you can slide it out. The new wipers attach in a way that doesn't require that pin, they come with their own new thing that works on the arm. Its kind of a pain to get out. Use pliers, needle nose pliers, flathead screwdriver, or whatever the heck you've got.
