running on 7 cylinders
okay, so my 84 z28 overheated earlier this week. the heater core hose had one of those flush/fill kits on it and it blew off. ever since then i can't get it to run right. I've checked for spark on all cylinders and they've all got spark. but when i pull the #3 plug wire the car doesn't show any change. i've replace the plug and the plug wire, but like i said i'm getting spark. what else should i check? thanks

Do a compression check. If that cly. is lower that the others then you have a bad valve or leaky piston.

alright thanks...I gotta run out and buy the compression checker.
damn, I was hoping for an easier fix...maybe click my heels together 3 times and say "there's nothing like a good running car, there's nothing like a good running car, etc."
alright thanks again and i shall report back tonight
