Running Lean After Rebuild

Okay, the Camaros been on jack stands for about a month now, and it's finally running again. Unfortunately, it's throwing a code 44 (running lean) at me and running a little rough at idle. Here's what I did: replaced the rod bearings, piston rings, had heads cleaned and resurfaced, and replaced all gaskets from the heads up. I also added an open element air cleaner.

Now the car was running just swell a month ago before the rebuild. So why would it act up now? Can the computer not compensate for the air cleaner and cleaned heads? Can I ramp up the fuel pressure myself? Thanks in advance.
