aic and tpi

aic and tpi

i just bought a new aic to install in my car, one of my questions is.. do you have to adjust or tweek it in anyway or do you just put in right in? and what does tpi stand for

1. Do you really mean "IAC"? (Idle Air Control)

2. Why are you changing it out in the first place? It hardly ever goes bad; and people don't generally just swap parts because it's fun.

3. Tuned Port Injection.... it's port injection, with those "tuned" long runners, such that their acoustical properties (pressure waves) produce cylinder fill reinforcement in a certain RPM range.
