Holley Stealth Ram Problems
My friend recently had the HSR with upgraded Throttle Body & Fuel Rails installed on his 89 Iroc 350 TPI and has had nothing but problems. He ordered the normal kit not for vortec heads with the fuels rails. His car now overheats in a matter of minutes killing the little bit of gain he has aquired. His mechanic also told him he needed bigger injectors. I know since he has no other mods he can not achieve full power because its not breathing right but what is he lacking that's making it so sluggish? is it injectors? how can he get that thing running cooler since it was not a problem before install?

For HSR applications, I would go LSRacingchips.com. Jamy is the tuner there and has a HSR system of his own that he tunes for so he knows his junk. Also, put in a 180 degree or low t-stat to help it cool better and make sure that there is no air bubbles in the cooling system or trash to prevent it from cooling....I would flush the cooling system too.
He doesn't need bigger injectors...the stock units are fine as long as he doesn't have any mods done to the internals of the engine.
