BRAND new engine leaking oil from dipstick and smoke off valves covers???

hi
I instaled my brand new rebuilt engine in my car...i had oil leak everywere. When a fix a leak somewere, is start leaking from an new place...after a while i fix all leaks but now its leaking from the dipstick and white smoke is leaving the valves cover higher i rev the engine the more it smoke's. the guy told me that it was the rings that needs to seats at the right place. but after 100km still does the same...i did a compression test and 1) 200 2) 190 3) 190 4)190 5) 195 6) 190 7) 190 8) 190 ...seems good compression? dosnt smoke oil from exhaust...
what can it be?

That white smoke from the valve covers is most likely oil leaking out somewhere and burning off on the headers, intake manifold, etc. If the dipstick continues to leak I would suggest checking/replacing the seals or just getting a new one all together.

You might want to check the pcv system to make sure its working properly. If you are getting new leaks on the fresh engine it could be from too much crankcase pressure b/c of the faulty pcv system.

that screams excess crankcase pressure. put back in your pcv and try that.
Or did you plug something in the block?

That sounds like a faulty PCV system to me.

That`s blow-by... there something wrong with the ring size or they are broken, the smoke is combustion burning the oil off the cylinder walls and pressurizing the crankcase, one or two other possiblities is the ring lands, they could be broken and not supporting the ring or the rings could have been installed wrong (i.e. upside down) and yes you still could have compression with this problem

as much as 200 psi ?

say what ?

is it stock rebuild or ?

normal compression in a stock engine is 150

and highest to lowest reading has to be within 20%

if you have all kinds of pressure and gases coming out of the valve cover and other places then i would run away fast

sounds really bad

not good,

good luck
