Pontiac FB 86 non starter 2.8i
Good spark at plugs, good compression, fuel in fuel rail, good pressure, ecm no faults, starts for about two seconds then dies, does this for three times then wont even try to start, any ideas?

. . . That's a tough one...
do anything recently that might have sparked this? Any recent work? Or just one day it wouldn't start?

I'm totally scratching my head here.
-how do you know good compression? did a compression test while cranking?
-how do you know good spark? cranked and used a spark tester, plugged into a plug wire?
-you just teed into the fuel injection lines to check pressure?
Total WAG here (wild a** guess), but this happened to me recently on my winter car... Never did find out the problem, after replacing the timing belt, ECM and fuel pump. Hows the timing....chain? (2.8L is a chain?)
If you don't get any other ideas here, in a few days, maybe PM a moderator and ask them to move the thread over to the V-6 forum, or re-ask there. It might be some weirdo specific (yet common) problem with a V-6 motor.

Good compression 100psi using compression tester.
Pressure in fuel rail at 45psi also using tester.
Good spark at spark wires using tester also.
Also there is power to injectors, just checking fuel rail and injectors for blockage etc.
Ecm using jumper wire showing no error codes.

Axle/Gears: I'm working on it,lol.
Just a thought, but have you cleaned the battery terminals lately. If they're good, try checking for spark the next time it dies and refuses to start again. If the spark is missing, checking the wiring to the ignition module. If the wiring's good, replace the ignition module.
