Crane hydraulic roller lifters which ones to get?
motor is 87+ block with oem rollers, i need some hydraulic roller lifters for my 383 build, camshaft is ligenfelter's 74219 (219/219 .525"/.525" @1.5) cranes part number CRN-10530-16 seemed to be the one i needed till i found this one CRN-10535-16. its says that the 10535 is "Required for use with camshafts having greater-than-stock lobe lift or reduced base circle diameters." summit doesnt seem to know the answer to which one i need, and the 10530 is $189 while the 10535 is $519. both are for oem roller blocks. anyone know which one i need?

The 10535's have a taller body to stay above the stock alignment dog-bones. Higher lift cams often have a reduced basecircle to provide the additional lift. Talk to Ligenfelter about whether you need them with their cam.

Avoid the reduced base circle cam, if possible. It will significantly increase the cost of your engine build-up.

after talking with ligenfelter. the 74219 cam can be used with stock like lifters, there is no need for the taller ones.
how so?
