car stumbles/loses power briefly when accelerating

not sure what's going on. i've got a 91 5.7 and when I get on the gas a little it will lose power or stumble very briefly and then jerk forward a little later. annyoying as hell. onece in a while i'll hear a pop from the exhuast but that's not often.

so far i changed the wires and fuel filter but i don't know what's going on. im using 91 octane.

My car dose the same thing sometimes ( 1989 TPI 350 )
Usually when i dont let it warm up for like 5 mins it will do that, ill go to take off and it stumbles bad and then jerks and goes like nothings wrong. The plugs and wire havent been changed in 2-4years so im guesing it could be that for me? But im interested to see what people say about it because it is very annoying.

Check your tv cable tension. When I did my shift kit, I didn't adjust it optimally, and I got a studder in the middle of 2nd.

Mine will do it in Park also, if i try and give it gas it gets all pissed off and stumbles, if i let it warm up 5 mins or so shes fine.
