Oil pressure sending Unit

Hey all,
My sending unit is leaking and really making a mess "stinks too" I want to change it but, I need some good advise from you experts. so my question is whats the easiest way of getting it done. What to I need to remove first or not to remove.

Axle/Gears: 9 Bolt 3:27
What syle? Above the oil filter or behind the intake manifold. I dont have any experience with the ones behind the intake, but if its above the oil filter, I used a set of visegrips to get it out. They do make a socket for it also. With the new one, screw it in until snug.
