AC Bearing Failure

My ac bearings decided to take a crap and lockup. I know there are ac delete pulleys out there however I am unsure if that is the way that I should go. Does anyone know If I can just get a belt that is for a vehicle with out ac and leave the ac unit in. the car is an 89 Formula TBI. If not, what do I need to do to all the Ac lines when removing the unit. Thanks

There is no way period of removing the AC pump without a replacement, the tensioner relies on it. The only option you have is to delete it or go with a new AC Condesnor. I honestly did an AC delete this weekend on a good AC. I'm going to list that in the parts for sale forum Saturday. I would actually recommend goign with the AC Delete pulley, and the AC delete heater box if you don't drive the car every summer, if you do I would highly recommend you rebuild the compressor and enjoy your AC. My car is a toy so it only gets driven on weekends and mostly at night.
