Rod nut torque with ARP bolts

I am finally assembling a .030" over 400 smallblock with parts I bought two years ago.

I have Scat forged 6" rods with ARP studs and nuts, but I no longer have the packaging the rods came in.

My question concerns the torque- When I used my ARP main studs they had a spec for torque using their moly paste and a different spec using 30wt oil on the threads.

My question is what is the advised torque on these using ARP's moly paste? I have also read how the rod bolt stretch method is best, but I'm not buying the gauge to measure that to just build one engine.

My machine shop torque my 2 bolt main studs to 70lbs. After looking at the site above, he was right on the money. If you have a 4 bolt main, the inner botls are 70 while the outer bolts are 65

Please don't torque your rod bolts to 70 ft/lbs
