Straight vs Angle vs L98 Angle Plug Heads

So what’s the real deal here… what will or will not work with what?

L98 Angle plug heads I’m assuming refers to aluminum vette heads since the iron heads used on L98’s appear to be straight plug.

What are the newer GM designs like the vortecs, LT1’s…?

Besides fit and availability, anyone show any real advantages one way or the other?

I don't know what Pro Topline based there angle plug off of but they make getting to the spark plugs easy with my Headman shortie headers. Also no burned up wires. Does make it harder to start threading the sparkplugs though, until you get used to the angle they are at.

Pretty crappy picture but you can see they point the front two and back two sparkplugs towards each other.
