Need some advice on Edelbrock heads and cam

Thinking about the following:

#2102 cam
#60759 Valve

I just recently bought the performer manifold and 1406 carb. What do you guys think about the Edelbrock stuff at the top? What kind of horse power do you think I will gain when all is said and done?

Edelbrock cams are a waste of money. You can get something much better for the same money from one of the cam companies.

Their heads are alright. Better than stock, but they're at the low end of aftermarket aluminum heads. You could spend a little more and get something better.

The Performer manifold you've got is no better than stock. The Performer carb isn't as good as the stock Q-jet.

IMO,you can spend the same $ and get something better.Aluminum is not magic. It is lighter, but on the avg. street driven car, you'll never know the weight isn't there.
If your not on the ragged edge of compression for pump gas,you can get a better flowing set of iron heads with better parts than the Edelbrocks.
