Questions after my gauge cluster swap

So I've successfully install my gauge cluster, it works, kinda. THe speedo is fine, had the car cilabrated today. But there are two things bugging me, the temp gauge keeps saying my car is gonna blow up when in fact its cool, and the tach seems 1000 over. I'm wondering if maybe this is becuase I have a 305 with the orginal 110 speedo and I put the speedo off a 350 with the 145 speedo. Maybe the tach and tempure are set differently cuase of engine size and power out put??

Try using your original plastic surround case. Take the new gauges (speedo, temp, tack, volts, fuel) and place them in your old casing. This worked for me going from an '89 to '84(with the 85mph speedo).
good luck,
Craig

The temperature gauge shooting all the way up like that means it's either grounded where it shoudln't be, or it's not getting a signal at all. I can't remember. But in any event, it wouldn't hurt to check the wiring for that. heh Sorry I can't help out with the tach.
