Ok, I went to the junk yard and picked up a p/s pump with the brackets on it, but when I get home, they dont seem to fit at all and the pump doesnt match my pump. So, can someone please send a photo of the darn p/s brackets so I know what they look like. Is there a cheaper method then going to GM and paying $80? I spent $12 already on these abortion brackets...

 

OR, what other car can I get the brackets from that will work on my 85 305 blck?

 

What kind of car did you get it off . I may have something around from an 79 Impala . I know it looket the same but did not try . I would say any 305 from 85 will work with the same options as yours . What happen to yours ?

 

Was a donor car, pulled motor, stripped it and chucked the rest. I got the brackets from under a 3rd gen, it was laying on the ground under the engine bay. There was a V8 block sitting in the engine bay, so i made an assumption. But, i doubt that motor was the orig, it had mis matched pistons lol!.
