"Heat Stove" removal
Hey guys,
I have searched and found some threads on this topic but require some more precise insite. I have a Haynes manual for my car but need to get some opinions. Since I am using a K&N Air filter + Enclosure and not the stock closed system air box + snorkle I want to remove the heatstove thing cause it's just sitting there with the open pipe. Is this things going to be a bitch to remove myself? Can I do this without a hoist? I don't have jack stands either.

IIRC, the heat stove is tack welded around the manifold. If you wack it here and there, you might get it off.

piece of tin around the manifold with a piece of hose running up to the air cleaner. lets the car breathe warmer air on cold days during startup.
