Can anyone tell me what kind if pistons these are?

The # on them is L-2477, and they are .030 over. Thanks

Engine: 406Ci Vortec SBC
Transmission: TH-350/3500stall
Axle/Gears: 7.5" Auburn 4.10 Posi-Traction
If you mean L-2377 ,they are Forged Big block chevrolet 454 pistons Made by TRW/Speedpro
They are low compression flat top around 7.5:1 with openchamber heads 8.5:1 with closed chamber
heads. Good for Blower ,turbo or nitrous.
Could be brought up to 9.5:1 with deck and head milling.

Thanks, but these are definitley sbc L-2477 pistons

Sounds like you are in the same boat I am. I have a set of l-2244 pistons and no one seams to have any specs on them...

Sorry those are Forged 400 race pistons (floating pins). They are 12.72:1 with 400crank (5.7 rod) 64cc head... 11.07 in the same with 76 cc heads. hope this helps...
