TPS voltage for a 88 blazer 4.3 tbi?
Hey,
just helping out a friend with some driveabilty issues. Its set at .73 right now. Is it supposed to be at .54 like our cars?
Also his injectors are screwed, I've got a TB from a 350, will his computer accept it w/o any probs?

Yeah it should be about .5V like nearly all other cars...
Those injectors will drown his motor. They'll deliver about 40% too much fuel. It will probably run OK except at WOT if it ever makes it into closed loop since the ECM will back the duty cycle off to keep it from being so rich, but I doubt it will be able to get to closed loop because it will be so massively rich in open loop startup. The TB off a 305 might be a little better choice, it will still try to run rich but at least the ECM won't be so confused.

Hey, thanks for the reply. I figured the tps should be at about .5, thanks.
as for the TB, I threw it in and it works great. I suspect that the TB on my old 350 was from a 305 (I bought the engine from a junkyard doctor!.)
