Beginner Mods...?
Just wanted to start out saying that im new to the board and am looking forward to being a part of your 'community'. As of now I don't officially own an fbody, but hopefully I will soon. I'm currently am waiting for my '96 Avenger (email me if you wanna buy it... im in the Detroit area 
) to sell so I can buy a 90 RS from a guy down the street. I was just wondering what kind of mods should i start out with? I know that the guy swapped the engine for a 350 and rebuilt the trans... however i do not know any specifics or if he did anything else.
So if anyone could give me some links to different manufacturers of aftermarket parts i'd appreciate it. I was thinking perhaps new headers and straight back exhaust (screw the cat and muffler) to start out with maybe??

u need to find out what kind of 350 he has in there. TBI, TPI, or carbed

Try summitracing.com or jegs.com. I would definately go with the Hooker cat-back. The performance and sound is awesome. Comes with dual exit dual tips. I definatley noticed a power increase. As far as headers, if you can afford them go with SLP, if not Hooker would be a good choice.

guess i shoulda mentioned i saw the nice shiny Edelbrock carb sittin there when he lifted the hood I'll try to find out more about the car if i can.... thanks again for the help

does it have posi?What gears.You
need to findout every thing about
it first.Write it down so you don't
forget give us some more info so we
