Actually, price for 5.7 vs 6.0 rods and pistons are often the same.

a 6.0 rod will be better as it will not put as much of a strain on the piston at the end of rotation as the 5.7, but really there not alot of jerking with the 5.7 eather, this is more of an issue with the 400's as they have a 5.55 rod and the 6.0 helps out ALOT, but on a 350 the 5.7 (stock) is just fine, also with a 6.0 on a 350 sometimes you have to machine the block to accept them.
