Mechanical Oil pressure guage port, blocked?
Ok, heres the dealeo, i had my mechanical guage hooked up to where the stock electrical guage plugs into. It worked great. But only becuase where the plug that exist above the oil filter normally is. Mine was plugged with something not removable. I drilled it and tried to use a rever direction bit to remove it and it wouldn't budge. so i had to fill it with JD weld.
How can i plug my stock guage and my mechanical guage up all at once? Are there t-fittings i can use to hook them all up?
Is there a way to drill and tap that plug so it can be used effectively? At this point i have no clue what todo.
Where is another pressure point? Its an older block, early 70's. where would a port be?

behind the intake manifold, on the block deck/lid...pass side.
Also, may be one on the pass side front above the water pump on the block (the L48? in my folks Vette has a mechanical gauge there)

any photo's/digrams to show me exactly where you are talking about?
Maybe just use a photo you already have and make a dot in paint or something. I have an idea where you are refereing to, but no real area to check, and it wont be worth just removing plugs to find a pressure port.

I only use the side port, to feed the gauge sender, pressure switch, and mechanical guage with a braided hydraulic hose to an aluminum manifold block.
